      Golf Course Maintenance Workers

      Quechee Lakes Landowners' Association, Inc. (3268 Quechee Main Street, Quechee, VT) needs 8 (eight) temporary (full-time) Golf Course Maintenance Workers at their facility from 4/1/17-10/31/17.  Will offer a wage of $14.74/hr.  Overtime may be available at $22.11/hr.  6am-2:30pm M-F.  Maintain grounds using hand or power tools for mowing, raking, weed eating, and blowing.  Will also perform general property maintenance and clearing.  Extensive stooping and bending required and must be able to lift 70 lbs.  No education required.  One month similar work experience required.  Employer provides required tools/equipment at no charge.  Employer arranged housing available at a weekly payroll deduction for up to $25/week.  For certified periods of employment lasting 120 days or more: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.  If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will either A: arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence, B: reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence and/or C: provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.  Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.  The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.  Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.09 per day during travel to a maximum of $51.00 per day with receipts.  Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages.  Workers will be paid weekly.  Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paychecks required by law.  Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (excluding passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).  Applicants are to inquire or send applications, indication of availability, and/or resumes directly to the nearest Vermont SWA office or to Vermont Department of Labor Workforce Development Division, 5 Green Mountain Drive, Montpelier, VT  05601.  (802) 828-3920


      Greets and seats members and guests in our dining facilities.  The ideal candidates should have excellent people skills and outgoing personality.  Must be available to work varied hours:  days, evenings, holidays and weekends.

      Base Lodge Attendant
      Do you have great customer service skills?  High degree of accuracy handling money?  Seeking Café cashier/attendant in the Quechee Ski Base Lodge.  Part-time seasonal positions beginning mid-December through mid-April.  Must have ability to work a flexible schedule.  Previous point-of-sale experience desired. 

      Ala Carte Servers
      Seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, service professionals with 1-2 years of experience in a formal dining and/or club environment preferred.  Current state alcohol serving permit required.  Must have ability to work a flexible schedule.

      Banquet Servers
      Seeking individuals with pleasant demeanor and ability to anticipate the needs of our members and their guests.  Must be able to multi-task and work well with team members.  The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude!  Current state alcohol serving permit required.  Experience in a formal dining and/or club environment.  Must have ability to work a flexible schedule.


      Grill Chef
      Full-Time position available immediately.  Grill Chef assists and supports the daily operations of the kitchen and food production.  Executes menus for all restaurants and dining outlets, prepares food items to order, and consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, flavor, and eye appeal. 2-3 years of experience, Culinary degree preferred. 

      Sauté Chef
      Part-Time year-round position available.  Must  be comfortable with sautéing techniques, accurate with meat and fish temperatures, good knife skills, and skilled at timing readiness of foods. 2-3 years of experience.

      Line Cook
      Seeking short-order cook at The Quechee Ski Base Lodge for the winter season.  Work schedule includes weekends and school vacation weeks (December and February).  Must have excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a team environment, and work calmly under pressure.  Previous prep or line cook experience preferred.  Position may extend into the summer working 3-4 days per week.

      Dishwashers needed in the Kitchen on a part-time, year-round basis.  Must have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.  Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, utensils.  Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays a must.


      Massage Therapist
      The Massage Therapist delivers superior service to our members and their guests by exceeding expectations and providing high quality services in a relaxing and professional manner.  Therapeutic massage techniques include:  deep tissue, relaxation, Thai table, injury rehabilitation, sport-specific massage, and more.  Must be Board Certified for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).  Hourly wage plus commission.  Experience as a Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor a plus.  This is a part-time position (2-3 days per week).  Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and vacations.

      Lifeguards needed for both indoor and outdoor pools plus Lake Pinneo.  Responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.  Required certifications:  American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR.  Water Safety Instructor Certification is desired.   This is a non-exempt seasonal position.  Must be available to work varied hours:  days, evenings, weekends and holidays.  Positions available now through Labor Day.

      Fitness Club Attendants
      Enthusiastic and helpful individuals to create a welcoming atmosphere for our members and their guests.  Must be hard-working, well-organized, and able to multi-task.  Responsible for answering phones, checking in members, booking appointments, laundry and cleaning duties. First Aid, CPR/AED certifications.

      Seasonal Rec Staff
      The Health Club and Recreation departments have a variety of part-time seasonal recreational staff positions available.  Must enjoy working with children and adults, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to be flexible.  Leadership skills and creativity a plus!  Duties include, but not limited to:  attendant, lead activities and groups, enforce rules in pool and Rec Center, etc.  Schedule includes:  school vacations, weekends and holidays beginning the end of December through February vacation required.
