Dear Members of The Quechee Club:

We recently embarked on a nationwide search to identify a highly capable culinary professional to become the next Executive Chef of The Quechee Club. Working hand-in-hand with our executive search firm, KOPPLIN KUEBLER & WALLACE, we unanimously agreed that we found the right fit with our next Executive Chef - James Russell Bradshaw. Chef Bradshaw has officially joined us and we'd like to wish him the warmest of Quechee welcomes.

Chef Bradshaw is a talented Chef and leader, as well as a positive and personable individual. We are especially taken with his professionalism, his creativity, and his staff development and mentoring track record.

Chef Bradshaw has solid experience in multiple-venue clubs, hotels and resorts. He is also a very talented culinarian and leader. He served as Executive Chef at Sun Mountain Lodge and Spa (AAA Four-Diamond) for over seven years and was the Executive Chef at Laurel Oaks Estates G&CC and Longboat Key Club & Resort (AAA Four-Diamond). His most recent position as Executive Chef was at Boars Head Inn & Resort (including an AAA Four-Diamond restaurant - the Old Mill Room).

He graduated from The Culinary Institute of America earning an Associate's degree. He is also Certified Executive Chef (CEC) and Certified Culinary Administrator (CCA) by the American Culinary Federation (ACF).

Chef Bradshaw also runs an American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF) apprenticeship program. Apprenticeship is a combination of one-the-job training and related classroom instruction where students can earn ACF certification. The program will now be offered to Quechee employees.

Chef Bradshaw has been married 29 years and he and his wife, Caroline, have twin 27-year-old sons; one currently in medical school and the other pursuing a degree in engineering, having just left the Marine Corps. Russ and Caroline enjoy hiking, camping, gardening and spending time with their dogs when they can't be with family.

With regard to his decision to join the team at The Quechee Club, Chef Bradshaw said, "I look forward to starting at the Club and getting to know the members and the culinary team. I am eager to create diverse and interesting menus for the outlets, as well as memorable banquets, special functions and member events; while preserving the wonderful sense of place that The Quechee Club is by continuing old and creating new Quechee traditions. I am also excited about using all of the wonderful products that New England has to offer such as cheeses, produce, and seafood.

Chef Bradshaw's focus at The Quechee Club will be to ensure consistency and quality in our culinary operations and blend our traditional club favorites with exploring and incorporating the latest culinary techniques and trends.

We are truly grateful for the ongoing support and input we receive from our members and guests. We are committed to continuing to make The Quechee Club the finest club in the area and believe that bringing Russ onboard as our Executive Chef is the next step toward that goal. Please join us in welcoming Chef Bradshaw to The Quechee Club family.
