A Community Rich with Tradition and Rooted with Family

In February 1970, the Quechee Lakes Landowners’ Association, Inc. (QLLA) was formed to “hold, manage, regulate and maintain” the common land and amenities of the development. The Quechee Lakes community is made up of individuals who own a home site, a completed home or condominium. Property ownership automatically confers membership in The Quechee Club. Our members own and control all the amenities at QLLA. Renters or tenants, because they rent from a member, are allowed the privilege of using the amenities while at residing in our association. Some amenities require the renter to purchase a guest pass from Membership Services or The Health Club.

In May of 1974, the construction of The Clubhouse was finished. This core facility encompasses our beautiful ballroom - Main Dining Room, and the renowned Davidson's Restaurant, both with breathtaking views of the Ottauquechee River and our pristine golf courses. Also located in The Club, is our Health & Fitness Club, with an indoor lap pool, outdoor swimming pool, squash court, and fitness area - complete with cardiovascular and circuit training equipment, massage, sauna and locker rooms. The Golf Pro Shop occupies the west end of The Clubhouse and commands sweeping views of the courses. The Administrative Offices of QLLA are also located in The Clubhouse.

Quechee’s facilities include two championship golf courses, Lakeland and Highland. Geoffrey Cornish, a world famous golf course architect, started with a valley full of ample trees, Springfed ponds, pastures, rocky ledges and dramatic ravines - then sculpted 36 challenging holes of championship golf. Old pros or young duffers, the golfers who have played it rave about it. Both 18's, from the first tee to the thirty-sixth green are truly unbelievable.

The Quechee Club’s Ski Hill is enjoyed by its members, guests and the public. A network of groomed cross country trails is located on the golf courses, as well as in a deep, forested area of the complex, offering a rustic escape.

The Tennis Center features outdoor courts, including eight Har Tru and two all-weather courts, and a professional staff offering an outstanding program of lessons and clinics for adults, juniors and children. Platform Tennis enthusiasts enjoy our all-season courts during daylight and nighttime hours.

Murphy Farm, a scenic addition to The Association, overlooking Lake Pinneo, is the location for QLLA’s highly acclaimed Mini Crew and Q-Crew Kids’ Camps that take place during the summer. During the winter season, the farmhouse transforms into Murphy’s Tavern, a bistro and bar atmosphere hosting some of the area’s most talented musicians, wonderful comfort food, wine, beer and spirits in front of a roaring fire.

The Base Lodge is the home of Ken Kramberg’s Ski School, Henderson’s Ski Rental Systems, Recreation Center and Food Court. Casual dining includes breakfast and lunch during golf and ski seasons. From freshly brewed aromatic coffee and a muffins from our pastry shop, to chili and soups, seasonal salads, burgers, sandwiches and grab and go items.

During the summer months, Lake Pinneo, a 50-acre retreat, offers a beach and bathhouse. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, visitors enjoy our picnic area, playground, volley ball nets, horseshoe pits, boat rentals, paddle boards, canoes and more!

Quechee Lakes Landowners have, through their Association, developed Vermont’s finest four season community. Everything you want for your vacation - be it spring, summer, fall or winter - can be found at Quechee Lakes.
