Are you here to relax and enjoy a leisurely walk through the picturesque Vermont countryside, or to wander through our area’s unique shops? How about the more challenging activities of golf, tennis, swimming, skiing, ice skating or snowboarding? Whatever your choices are, we hope that your visit to Quechee is an enjoyable one.

  • Charitable Donations
    • In 1984, Ginny and Tom Lane, with their friends and neighbors, established the Quechee Lakes Landowners’ Association Charities (QLLA Charities) as a way to direct proceeds from the existing New England Open Pro-Am Golf Tournament to support local causes. Pediatric services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center became the charity’s primary beneficiary. Throughout the Upper Valley non-profit organizations are seeking volunteers, donations and monetary support. Please visit the websites of the following organizations for further information on how you can get involved.

  • Green Initiatives
    • Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Program

Anything with a Plug, the Styrofoam Cup Return Program, and our agreement with the local farm community to reuse kitchen and dining waste are ongoing commitments to reduce our Carbon Footprint. Our latest effort is our Zero-Sort Recycling. All paper, glass, cardboard, metal and plastic products are being collected in one container for recycling. This program allows us to increase the amount of material we recycle, while reducing the amount of waste we produce.

We need the help of members of the club and their guests for this program to be a successful. Please pay attention to the signage for refuse (non-recyclable materials such as food, liquids, etc) and for recyclable materials. Deposit non-recyclable materials in the containers marked for refuse and recyclable materials in the “Zero Sort Recycling” container. Empty Styrofoam cups are still being collected in a separate cardboard box. It’s important that refuse does not make its way into the Zero Sort Recycling containers. Refuse contaminates the container and makes it non-recyclable.
